Writing Goals So Insane They Might Actually Work

A Happy New Year to you. I am back

All through February I will be working on these Goals.

Goals

  1. Ten Lines of Poetry Daily
  2. Write a Short Story (1,500 to 8,000 words)

It would be foolish to think that just setting these goals would make me write.

I have to Include these goals into my routine. That is to allocate time for the task.

In other words create a system for the goals.

When

In the evening 8:00 to 8:45 PM

What

The what is the goal itself.

  1. Ten Lines of Poetry
  2. Short Story Every Week

Why

I want to be a writer. The Identity that does not feel out of place when I behave and act exactly as professional Writer would.

That is to Write Consistently.

Where

In Notion (laptop) or Writer's Notebook at Home.

I will be using Notion to write and track my daily and weekly progress.

I would use weekend for editing, revising and sending out for Publication and Contests etc

New Publication

I will be sending these newsletter twice a week.

  1. Letters ( Friday 4:00 PM )
  2. Publication Opportunities for Writers (Saturday 4:00 PM)

If you have any feedback on what you write and the kind of publication opportunities you will like to see, please reply to this email

Until next time, keep writing.

That the world is from you, but a world of its own that speaks to this world.Whatever it is, it is...

Hi , I’m so glad you’re here. Seriously, it means the world to me that you’ve trusted me with a little corner of your inbox. This newsletter is for you—a fellow writer who, like me, loves weaving words into poetry, short stories, and everything in between. But here’s the deal: I want this to feel like our space. A place where you find inspiration, opportunities, and maybe even that little nudge to keep writing when the blank page feels intimidating. Since I’m just starting out, I’d love to...

I set myself a challenge: write a poem every day for a week. But why? Because I love writing poetry, yet I struggled with consistency. I needed to create a habit of showing up.
